First run with Am-241

SiPM 4 was placed in its delrin holder with scintillator 1-66-?. The scintillator was wrapped in three-layers of PTFE tape for reflection. The source used is Am-241. Each event is self-triggered with varying trigger threshold levels.

All histograms above (Figures 1 and 2) exclude data with a standard deviation greater than 7. The histograms of the pulse areas (Figures 1) also excludes data with secondary pulses.

The histogram shape doesn't change with different threshold levels, but the location of the histogram increases with increasing threshold levels.

SiPM 3 was placed in the delrin holder with the same scintillator and source as above. Each event was self-triggered with a trigger threshold of 8400 for a total of 10k events. The data file is 130717_sipm3_am-241_8400threshold.dat.

Both histograms in Figure 3 exclude pulses with a baseline standard deviation greater than 7. The histogram for area under the pulse also excludes events with secondary pulses.
