Cf-252 Runs With Various Trigger Conditions
The general procedure as described here was used to collect data. A DB03828B 12U fan (connected to a PAB 18-3A DC power supply set to 6.5 V) was placed horizontally next to the TB4 board so as to cool the board.
External Trigger
To examine SiPM behavior over longer periods of time, the TB4 board was triggered using a pulse generator. Positive 50 mV pulses, 10 nsec in duration, were sent out in 100 microsecond intervals. This output was connected to Ch. 3 on the TB4 board and triggered on an 8400 ADC threshold.
It was determined that the baseline over 2048 bins fluctuated too much to obtain meaningful results.
