01_Aug_2016 Removed iT4 detector stack from purge cabinet and checked for fit in shipping vessel. Stack can sit on bottom of vessel between three plastic feet which form a pretty close fit. Returned stack to purge. Probably 10 minutes of exposure.
It's a little difficult to lower and raise the stack, your fingers need to squeeze between the teeth in the opening.
03_Aug_2016 Cut some pieces of clean room gloves to put between feet and stack. Put the stack in the vessel. This holds it pretty snugly. You can tilt the vessel by like 60 degrees without the stack moving. Put the top part of the vessel on, tightened the screws. With the pump valve open, placed the vessel in the N2 purge. About 20 minutes out of the purge. After putting the vessel into the purge hopefully the air in the vessel was slowly replaced with N2. However I later found that the metal gasket on the port seal has only a pinhole opening, maybe 0.1 mm, obviously to limit flow. This might have made the purge rather inefficient. The vessel with the valve open was left in the purge overnight.
