  • Lab in-personnel: Matt, Giulia, Zach, Derek
Status Run 76 in progress
Setup Cables 2/3/1 → diverter/nothing/nothing → Side2-readout HV CONN 1/3/2 → HV 1(L)/2(R) → DCRC50(3)/DCRC55(1), DCRC33(2)→HV control, NaI trigger signal → DCRCX(4)
Lead/poly shield fully assembled. Boron-filled socks covering NaI detectors.
PuBe source behind lead wall.
NaI trigger window -t10760 -T15760 (7.6-11.2 MeV)
Taking 0V NaI-triggered data continuously
0828 Start 0 V PuBe data series 86 min long, with 1000 initial randoms, 5 Hz in-run randoms, trigger on DCRC3pD threshold 10 (Si-triggered).
Start series with the Start Button.
1045 MC/Coldplate = 29.0/155 mK, Still = 1.12 K / 0.095 mbar / 0 mW, G1/G2 = 109/114 mbar, 1K Pot = 60° / 1.55 K / 8.0±0.5 mbar, MB = 37.1%
1055 Filled LN2 cold trap bath
1345 Open LN2 Vent valve to establish a tiny amount of flow for the E-box purge
1348 Dial HV from 0V to -200V nominal with RootSequencer
1357 After 7 minutes dial HV from -230V to -200V nominal
1400 Vtest ~ -160 mV, still settling a little but quite high
1400 Open LN2 Vent valve further, significantly higher flow. Vtest starts falling immediately.
1405 Vtest ~ -50 mV and settling
1410 Vtest ~ -40 mV and settling
1430 Vtest ~ -31 mV and pretty flat
1440 Vent valve is cold and frosting up. Definitely too much flow. Reduce flow now to a trickle.
1440 Vtest ~ -30 mV. Looks like that's the best we can do.
1530 Begin LHe transfer @ MB = 30.9%
1616 End LHe transfer @ MB = 95.6%
1646 HV = -197.34 V, Vtest = -30.3 mV, MC = 28.8 mK
1649 Start -197.3 V PuBe data series 20 min long, with 1000 initial randoms, 5 Hz in-run randoms, trigger on DCRC3pD threshold 10 (Si-triggered).
Start series with the Start Button.
1705 HV = -197.36 V, Vtest = -30.6 mV, MC = 28.7 mK
1709 Start -197.3 V PuBe data series 1022 min (17 hours) long, with 1000 initial randoms, 5 Hz in-run randoms, trigger on DCRC4pA threshold 20 (NaI-triggered).
Start series with the Start Button.
For most of the series Vtest was increasing, from -30V to -36V. For the last ~80 minutes it fell a bit, from -36V to -34V.
