Previous Day

  • Lab in-personnel: Matt
Status Run 76 in progress
Setup Cables 2/3/1 → diverter/nothing/nothing → Side2-readout HV CONN 1/3/2 → HV 1(L)/2(R) → DCRC50(3)/DCRC55(1), DCRC33(2)→HV control, NaI trigger signal → DCRCX(4)
NaI trigger configuration: detectors 10,11,12, threshold range 1300-2100
1245 Experiment with Na-22 source near NaI detectors. With source on top of stack, NaI rate = 44±14 Hz. Taped to Det3: 90±26 Hz. Near bottom of vertical stack: 160±27 Hz. Hanging near Det 11 (not sure how far down exactly): 1930±310 Hz. So it certainly seems like we have the correct NaI detectors triggering.
1300 Place Na-22 source on the North side of the fridge, level with the detector in a lead castle, 40cm from mu-metal shield (closer than yesterday)
1305 Check phonon channels, many are off their baselines. Relock those channels: now their baselines are in the expected ~ -0.8 V
1310 Start 0 V Na-22 data series 76 min long, source 40cm from mu-metal shield, with 1000 initial randoms, 5 Hz in-run randoms, trigger on DCRC3pD threshold 10.
Start series with the Start Button.
1320 MC/Coldplate = 28.5/146 mK, Still = 1.09 K / 0.100 mbar / 0 mW, G1/G2 = 168/156 mbar, 1K Pot = 45° / 1.56 K / 9.0±0.5 mbar, MB = 37.6%
1320 Fill LN2 cold trap bath
1606 Begin LHe transfer @ MB = 34.1%
1654 End LHe transfer @ MB = 95.7%
