| Status | Run 74 in progress. |
|---|---|
| Setup: DIB1/2+acc → SL 41/43 → 3.2 MHz filters → cables 2/3 → nothing/HV_diverter_board → DCRC50(3)/55(1). Kepco 0-40V supply → HV BNC. No lead/poly shield. | |
| 1240 | Matt arrives in lab |
| 1530 | Tower/MC/Coldplate = 92.6/38.5/191 mK, Still = 1.49 K / 0.130 mbar / 0 mW, G1/G2 = 390/352 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.69 K / 40±2 mbar. |
| 1250 | Noise in DCRC3qI/qO/DCRC1qI/qO = 2.1/1.3/5.1/1.5 e-6 @ 10 kHz |
| 1255 | While watching the Pulse Viewer, try applying bias with DCRC (11V), see if noise gets worse. There's an initial disturbance, then noise is fine. Also try biasing with the Kepco HV supply. Yesterday this introduced a lot more noise - but today it looks fine. At least up to several volts. |
| 1259 | Start 62min series of 0V/-15V data (bias applied after 1 min), with 1000 beginning randoms, trigger threshold 40/40/40/40 on DCRC3qI/qO/DCRC1qI/qO, no in-run randoms, with 1.6384 ms pulses (8192 length) and 400 us prepulse (500 length). Start sequence with Start button. |
| 1304 | Triggering was not too bad but was occasionally going into bursts, so I tried to adjust. Turns out that the DCRC3 channels are more troublesome, so I wound up turning those two triggers off entirely. So off/off/40/40 on DCRC3qI/qO/DCRC1qI/qO |
| 60keV line with time-dependent behavior is clearly visible | |
| 1405 | Flash LEDs on DCRCs 1/3 for 30 seconds |
| 1415 | Begin LHe transfer @ MB = 25.4% |
| 1446 | Finish LHe transfer @ MB = 91.6% |
| 1700 | MB = 90.1% |
| 1700 | Matt exits lab |
