| Note: also checked cross-channel resistances, to check that there is still continuity to the crystal via the wirebonds. All show continuity of a few kΩ except DIB3pD, which is the one that was left unconnected. So this looks good. | |
| 1450 | Finish 4K stage. For some reason not all of the small shield sections could be attached. One was blocked by one of the blackened heat shields. No one remembers this being an issue in the last run so it is rather strange, since the orientation is the same (we think).   The photos above show a trapezoidal piece of copper tape used instead of the standard shield section. |
| 1515 | Put IVC bottom on partially, then check all three DIBs at breakout box again. All look good. |
| 1545 | IVC bottom screws are tightened most of the way. Begin gently pumping IVC with scroll pump. |
| 1550 | Opening pump valve slowly, in stages. Monitor on mechanical gauge (with valve to mechanical gauge open). Currently scroll pump ≈ 4“Hg below atm (0.87 bar) |

| 1600 | At around 1/3 bar, the gauge on the turbo station finally falls below its max reading of “>1E3 mbar”. Scroll pump ≈ 22“Hg below atm (0.26 bar), 540 mbar on turbo station gauge Scroll pump ≈ 28”Hg below atm (0.07 bar), 140 mbar on turbo station gauge. Close valve to mechanical gauge. |
