Previous Day

Setup: iZIP mode, DIB1/2/3 → cables → 3.2 MHz filters → DCRC55(1)/33(2)/50(3), Tower has been cooled below Al transition with mu-metal shield at standard position
DCRCs were powered down yesterday evening due to large ~100mK temperature fluctuations
1020 Tower/MC/Coldplate = 31.8/X/Y mK, Still = Z K / 0.065 mbar, G1/G2 = 187.3/173.3 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.54 K / 6.0 mbar, MB = 64.6%
came in and the Tower temp seemed to have been stable for a couple of hours but coming off what seemed to be another upswing overnight, up as high as at least 720 mK.
1029 Turned DCRCs on, no noticeable temperature rise yet
1120 The MC thermometer is 25.5 mK, coldplate is 180 mK
1205 The DCRCs actually were not plugged into the fridge bulkhead, we plugged them in and the temperature is spiking beyond 50 mK
1419 Switched over to “fast” on the LHe level meter, MB level at 56.1%
Boiloff rate is high. I think pressure was let out twice after yesterday's fill but only mentioned once in run diary, 6 minutes after - not sure when the second release was done.

Notes on DAQ issues:

  • The DAQ computer cdms2 is not accessible, IT has been informed. Anthony switched DAQ operation back to the local machine jiajin
  • There was strong noise on DIB2 qInner
