Previous Day

1245 SQUETS and striplines from Soudan arrive:
SQUETS ZC14, ZC24, ZC26, ZC31, ZC39, ZC68.
Striplines 37, 41, 43, 48, 61, 66
1250 Put SQUET ZC39 in mini cleanroom to use for DIB1
1400 Attach SQUET ZC-39 to DIB1 and finish 4K stage.
1430 Electrical check at breakout: looks like we lost another stripline trace, QET B (Dsub pin 49).

Plan for rerouting Stripline 19: Bad wire = QET B. Reroute with good spare wire = QET C Return #1

  1. for SQUET-end rerouting card:
    1. add jumper from Pin 26 (QET B) to Pin 4 (QET C Return #1)
    2. break off Socket 4
  2. for D50-end rerouting card:
    1. jump Pin 13 (QET C Return #1) on the male side (stripline side) to Pin 49 (QET B) on the female side (ebox side)
    2. open switches (to break connections) corresponding to Pin 13 and Pin 49

Actually there is already a jumper on the SQUET rerouting card from 26 to 2 with the 2 socket broken off, and on the D50 rerouting card there's a jumper from 17male to 49female. This means that QET B already broke in the past and was rerouted through the QET A Ret 1 wire - so that one must have broken this time. So, follow above procedure but first remove these two jumpers.

1530 Finish rerouting boards
1600 Reconnect stripline at ebox and at SQUET, finish 4K stage
Electrical check: everything looks OK
1630 Put IVC bottom on, loose.
Electrical check: everything looks OK, all 3 DIBs
1700 Tighten IVC bottom
1716 Finish tightening IVC bottom. Commence pumping out IVC from both sides with scroll pump.
1740 After gently pumping for a while pressure on turbo pump gauge has started to fall, now at 100 mbar.
1750 IVC pumping pressure 1.2 mbar. Open valves completely.
1810 IVC pumping pressure at 7.4E-2 mbar.
