2016/01/11 (Monday)

Previous Day

Setup: iZIP mode, DIB1/2/3 → cables → 3.2 MHz filters → DCRC55/33/50
Taking Y-88 data overnight. Last flash at 07:20.
1000 Tower/MC(H35)/MC sensor/Cold Plate = 32.0/26.2/41.9/166 mK, Still = 1.33K / 0.12 mbar, G1/G2 = 139/135 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.74 K / 20 mbar, Main bath = 39.5%
Fill LN2 cold trap full.
The Main Bath is still ~20% more full than we would have thought based on previous calculations. Perhaps we're boiling off slower than we were. During my transfer on Saturday, I did knock out the rubber bung stopping the port adjacent to the LHe transfer port. After resituating the bung, I noticed that it had frozen from the expelled gas, so it wasn't properly stopping the port. I switched it with another bung and could no longer hear any gas escaping. I don't think any gas was escaping before I mistakenly knocked the bung off, but it could have been?
1020 DIB3 phA&phB are both railed. According to Matt's PSDs, they've been railed since last night, so that's unfortunate. Adjust the ADC Offsets to bring them back to life, Igor.
1040 Start 4 cycles of 30min 88-Y series at +4/-4V with FG=5/2/5, OG=3, with 1000 initial randoms, 1000 ending randoms, 30s flash and 25 minute cooldown before series. Trigger on DIB1 phA with threshold of 30ADC bins.
1045 During the first cooldown (before the first series of data, attach rubber hose to Main Bath port adjacent to LHe transfer port so we can see if that affects the Taconis oscillations.
1504 Before commencing LHe transfer, Main Bath is at 31.9%.
1515 Commence LHe transfer (30.3%).
1615 Cease LHe transfer (95.1%).
1642 Start 17 cycles of 30min 88-Y series at +4/-4V with FG=5/2/5, OG=3, with 1000 initial randoms, 1000 ending randoms, 30s flash and 25 minute cooldown before series. Trigger on DIB1 phA with threshold of 30ADC bins.
1750 Fill LN2 cold trap full.
