Previous Day

0911 Fill LN2 cold trap full.
Overnight status: no data taking (because something is wrong with DIB1pA), Cf source near detector for activation. DCRCs powered. Tower temperature stable.
0917 Tower/MC(H35)/MC sensor/Cold Plate = 30.9/25.8/39/145 mK, Still = 1.13 K / 0.11 mbar, G1/G2 = 212/188 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.73 K / 22 mbar, Main bath = 65.9%
0925 Remove Cf source from fridge.
1030 Get set up to take Frontend Gain sweeps now that DIB1 pB is back in action.
1130 Adjust Frontend Gain = 15/5/15 DAQ file to allow for new Driver Offsets.
Use the following phonon thresholds:
Phonon Thresholds
pA pB pC pD
DIB 1 50 50 50 50
DIB 2 50 50 50 60
DIB 3 60 80 55 50
1142 Start FG = 15/5/15 data series of 1000 randoms at 0V Qbias.
1146 Stop data. Set -/+4V Qbias and Start 1000 more randoms at same FG settings.
1150 Stop data. Flash 30s.
1225 Setting Frontend Gain = 30/10/30 causes several channels to show ridiculously fat noise (high frequency). Keep going despite the noise.
Set new phonon thresholds:
Phonon Thresholds
pA pB pC pD
DIB 1 60 80 200 80
DIB 2 -‡ 400 100 150
DIB 3 70 1100 150 200
‡ DIB2 pA could not be unrailed when FG was set to 10.
1305 Start 1000 random data series at FG = 30/10/30 at 0V Qbias.
1620 Tower temperature has raised slightly to ~32.5mK. After reverting the boards to their usual Frontend Gains and Driver Offsets (FG=5/2/5), the channels are all back and looking good, and the Tower temperature has begun cooling back to ~31mK. Using the Threshold Settings from Friday.
1635 Place Cf source inside shield near top of fridge for overnight Cf data taking.
1641 Start 21 cycles of 15min Cf data series at -/+2V with 1000 initial randoms, 2000 events/file, Frontend Gains = 5/2/5, Output Gain = 3, with 30s flashing and 30min cooldown in between series.
1730 Fill LN2 cold trap full.
1733 Main bath 53.3%
