1300 Cleaned turbo pump gauge. Only cleaned the cold-cathode elements, not the pirani elements. They were very dirty.
Did not replace the Ignition Aid or any other parts, did not use the Mounting Tool. (Didn't have them.)
Leak-checked reassembled gauge, spray-tests. No leak seen. Background 2e-9 mbar*l/s
Pumped out line to turbo, including gauge, using leak checker. Leak checker gauge and turbo gauge agreed well down to about 5 ubar.
Isolated leakchecker and opened turbo valve to pump on gauge. Pressure fell quickly to 3e-4 mbar
1520 After a while pressure display was oscillating between 7.4e-5 and 1.6e-4 mbar
1632 External pressure sensor oscillating around 1E-5 mbar. Attach baffles to striplines 19, 20 and 27 in preparation for tomorrow's installation. Perform Stripline Electrical check. Results below, with no change from yesterday:
Stripline Bad Pins
19 No bad pins. No shorts to ground.
20 Qo Bias (FET Pin 21). No shorts to ground.
27 Feedback coil B, Feedback coil C, QET D Return. No shorts to ground.
1730 External pressure sensor oscillating around 8.6E-6 mbar.
