1220 After turbopumping on He cold trap/IGH lines overnight, G1: ~1mbar, G2: 0mbar, P1: 11ubar, external pressure gauge 4.0E-6mbar. Cease pumping on cold trap lines and cease pumping on He3 pump exhaust lines in preparation for room temperature throughput test through He cold trap. Insert He gas to system through vent valve.
1250 Add 337 mbar He gas to G1 though vent valve. Once settled, open V1, allowing gas to flow into warm He cold trap. G2 falls to 4.3 mbar and P1 rises to 0.55 mbar. This indicates flow through He cold trap. Open V6, V5 and He-3 exhaust lines speedivalve to pump out He gas with scroll pump.
1310 Once He gas removed, G1=0.7 mbar and P1=6 ubar close all valves on IGH. Insert He cold trap into He dewar and allow to cool. Add 461 mbar He gas through vent to G1. Open V1 to allow gas to flow into cold He cold trap. G1 drops to 0.7 mbar and P1 rises to 0.65 mbar. While cold trap is still inside dewar, open V6 to allow He-3 pump to pump on cold trap. G1 drops to 0.1 mbar and P1 drops to 7 ubar. Test results indicate no block in He cold trap to prevent flow. Remove He cold trap from dewar and pump on it with He-3 pump and scroll pump (on He-3 exhaust lines) while it warms up.
1410 Disconnect He cold trap from condenser line IGH port and He-3 pump intake speedivalve. Reconnect condenser line to IGH port. Commence pumping on condenser line with scroll pump through V1, V2, V7 and vent valve. After a few moments open condenser line speedivalve (gate valve still closed) to commence pumping on fridge lines, in order to remove blockage from yesterday's test.
1415 Isolate scroll pump an switch to pumping on condenser line and fridge lines with turbo pump. P1=7 ubar, G2=0.0 mbar currently. With He-3 pump still on, open V6. Once V6 open, P1=6 ubar and G2=0.0 mbar.
1425 Turn off He-3 pump. Unplug He-3 pump and electrical box. Listen for E-box death rattles.
1535 G2=0 mbar, P1= 6 ubar. Plug in the E-box and He-3 pump. Turn on for a second to make sure it is plugged in properly, and then turn off. G2 is unchanged, and P1=7 ubar. Listen for death rattles.
1620 With no death rattling and no change in G2 or P1 pressures, turn on He-3 pump and close V6. Still no change in G2 or P1.
1635 Fill G1 with 683 mbar of He gas while P1=6 ubar. Open gate valve (condenser line speedivalve already open). P1 rises to 30 ubar and G1 settles to 680 mbar. Open V1 to commence through put test.
1652 After several minutes of throughput test, G1=108.3 mbar and P1=0.12 mbar, demonstrating some flow.
1654 Still throughputting, with G1=107.0 mbar and P1=0.13 mbar.
1658 With G1=106 mbar and P1=0.16 mbar, close V1 and add more He gas to G1 to test again. After some time G1 settles to 853 mbar and P1=0.17 mbar. Open V1 again.
1702 While testing throughput, G1=223.6 mbar and P1=0.26 mbar. This test has demonstrated flow at room temperature. Open V6 to pump on fridge lines with He-3 pump. G1 begins to decrease, demonstrating flow from G1 to He-3 pump. Close V6 and turn of He-3 pump.
1730 Pump and flush main bath with He gas. Add 3.0 mbar He exchange gas to IVC in preparation for tomorrows LN2 transfer.
1800 Start pumping on fridge lines and G1 with turbo pump. Turn off He3 pump in preparation of bypassing it.
1830 Remove He-3 pump from the system. Connect He-3 pump intake line to He-3 pump exhaust line. Commence pumping on these lines with scroll pump. Note that V6 is closed, so there should be no issue with turbo pump pumping on fridge lines up to P1.
