1020 Fill LN2 cold trap.
1220 Vent IVC with N2 gas.
1720 Commence leak check with initial background leak rate of 2.7e-9 mbar*l/s, slight rises in leak rate while checking T flanges (up to 1.1e-8 mbar*l/s). Spraying top of wizard staff resulted in leak rate rising to 1.3e-7 mbar*l/s. This is certainly a leak, and might be the cause of smaller increases seen previously at other flanges. Vent the IVC and prepare for some disassembly.
1923 After taking apart and resembling the T flange and adjusting the wizard staff flange (many, many times), we found that the wizard staff flange was easily movable. This was very distressing (David cried). A leak check with initial background rate of 1.6e-8 mbar*l/s showed a spike to 3.2e-8 mbar*l/s when spraying this wizard staff flange. The villagers mourned loudly, for their king is dead and all hope is lost.
