1800 Found reason for QET Return shorted to ground: Tower socket for attaching SQUET to DIB 3 had a bent socket on pin 5, which contacted the tower, thus causing the short. Pushing the socket back into position eliminated all shorts to ground.
Performed several electrical checks during the process of reinstalling the SQUETs, and all values found were expected, and no shorts to ground were found.
The warm-side bypass board for Stripline 20 was removed from the E-Box to prevent Qo Bias from shorting to the QET Return Lines.
When the final screws and heatsinks were attached to the 4K stage, a final electrical check was performed before sealing up. Again all values were found as expected, but a short to ground was found on DIB 1 (Stripline 27) for Feedback Coil D (18kΩ) and Feedback Return D (19Ω).
