0355 Mixing chamber temperature appears to have stabilised at 7.1 K. IVC pressure 8.6E-7 mbar. Pressurise helium dewar to increase speed of transfer.
0415 Cease helium transfer. Helium liquid level 0%.
0425 Commence second helium transfer.
0515 Cease second helium transfer. Helium liquid level 76.0%.
0540 The mixing chamber temperature has dropped sharply to around 4.6 K. IVC pressure has increased to 1E-4 mbar. This may be due to helium entering the 1 K pot, providing some cooling. Hopefully this is not evidence of a leak. Mixing chamber is still cooling, but rate of descent has slowed down significantly. Hopefully 1 K pot will warm up, IVC pressure will decrease and mixing chamber temperature will rise over the next few hours.
1030 Mixing chamber temperature has risen slightly to 4.9 K and continues to rise, IVC pressure has dropped to 1.4E-6 mbar.
1045 Isolate IVC and start the 1K Pot.
1115 Stop 1K Pot since V6 is not yet fixed. Filled LN2 cold trap full.
1530 V6 has been repair and tested to prove it is now working. To test, mixture from the dump was allowed out of the dump such that P1=12.0mbar with V6 closed and G2=671 mbar. The system was monitored for 30 minutes to see if any mixture seeped through V6, which would result in a drop in P1 and/or a rise in G2. No such change occurred.
1600 With G1=0.0 mbar, P1=0.014 mbar and G2=672 mbar, commence cryocleaning. Open V6 to 12.8% initially to get flow. This seems to be the new 13.2% since we have altered V6.
With IVC pressure of 7.4E-7 mbar*l/s and fridge temperature of 4.65 K, start 1 K Pot.
1715 Start recovering mixture to the dump.
1825 Commence circulation procedure.
1836 Manual circulation procedure complete. V6 fully open.
2350 Reduce 1 K pot temperature to 1.63 K. Mixing chamber temperature appears to have stabilised at 72.3 mK.
Fill N2 cold trap full.
