0250 Nitrogen liquid level meter reads 1.33 kΩ. Nitrogen transfer complete. Attach ping-pong ball.
1015 Fill LN2 cold trap full.
1225 Due to a power outage at some point last night the IGH was shutoff and all valves were closed and pumps turned off. The He3 pump has been restarted and the cryocleaning has been recommenced . Cryocleaning will continue for an hour.
1415 Allison returned from class to find that flow had stopped. Opened V6 further to start flow.
1510 Begin pumping out exchange gas and pumping mixture to dump. Mixing chamber temp at 81.2 K.
1630 Mixture recovered. Close all valves on IGH to isolate dump. Extract nitrogen cold trap 2 from bath and open line to 1 K pot pump. Evacuate both nitrogen cold traps through valves V11A & V11B on IGH and wait for nitrogen cold trap 2 to warm up. Start cleaning cold traps once nitrogen cold trap 2 has reached room temperature.
1800 Finish two cycles of cleaning the nitrogen cold traps. Leave to evacuate for a few hours.
2240 Cease evacuating nitrogen cold traps and place back in their bath.
2250 Mixing chamber temperature 79.9 K, IVC pressure 5.4E-6 mbar. Isolate turbo pump and open line to leak checker. Background helium leak rate 9E-10 mbar l/s. Isolate 1 K pot pump and commence nitrogen blow out.
2345 Nitrogen blow out complete. Helium leak rate rose gradually to 2.4E-9 mbar l/s over course of blow out: no gross leak.
2355 Evacuate main bath. Background helium leak rate 4.6E-9 mbar l/s. Overpressurise main bath with He-4 gas. Helium leak rate rises gradually to 4.7E-9 mbar l/s: confirmation of no cryo-leak.
Evacuate 1 K pot.
Resume cryocleaning mixture through nitrogen cold trap 2.
