1010 Fed Cricket 3 pellets.
1015 Filled LN2 cold trap.
1200 Closed recovery valve on wall.
Turn off mixing chamber heater.
1352 Turned on leak checker, and calibrated.
Evacuated main bath.
Background leak rate: 4.0E-9 mbar l/s.
IVC leak rate spiked to ~ 2E-6 mbar l/s. Slowly decreasing.
1417 Filled main bath with helium gas. Inserted nitrogen transfer stick into main bath. Removed recovery hose.
Begin LN2 transfer.
1519 End LN2 transfer.
1620 Fed Cricket 4 pellets.
1756 Main bath prepared for blow-out. Waiting for IVC background to stabilize before supplying helium to main bath.
1808 Right when opening IVC, rate jumped to 1.5E-6 mbar l/s, then started to decrease. Stable IVC leak rate: 4.5E-9 mbar l/s
1811 Begin blow out of LN2.
1839 The leak rate after blowing out the LN2 is 6.5E-9 mbar l/s.
1959 Restarted blowing out LN2 awhile ago. Apparently there was LN2 left. The transfer stick was not put low enough into the dewar.
2016 He gas canister ran out. Stop blow-out.
2026 Re-commence blow-out.
2111 End LN2 blow-out. Leak rate: 1.1E-8 mbar l/s.
2135 Background helium leak rate 1.4E-8 mbar l/s. Evacuate and fill main bath with helium gas. Helium leak rate unchanged.
Dump mixture into fridge to check for leak in mixing chamber. No need to perform a throughput test so V1 on IGH remains closed; V3, V9 & V14 are open. Background helium leak rate 1.4E-8 mbar l/s. Leave for about 5 minutes.
2148 Leak rate unchanged.
2219 Lowered main bath.
2300 Fill IVC with 0.14 mbar N2 exchange gas to aid warm up.
2335 Fill N2 cold trap full.
