0400 Start charge-only data acquisition, triggering on charge channels with 0.1 ms trigger delay and 0.4096 ms trace length. OR charge trigger threshold 40 ADC bins for all charge channels, and coincidence time set to 10 μs. Flash for one hour, followed by cool down for 2 hours. Then take four 30-minute data series each at +/-2.5 V, -/+2.5 V & -/+1 V biases. Flash all LEDs for 6 seconds between data series with usual settings, and wait 20 minutes for cryostat to cool. Finish with a 20 minute flash and 2-hour cool down.
Rate of data acquisition is a little low at around 4 Hz. This is lower than yesterday - not sure why. Phonon pulses do look a little ugly, perhaps due to trapped flux. As we are not interested in the phonon pulses for this run, and we are triggering on the charge channels, this is probably not a problem. It may have some relation to the lower trigger rate for the 0 V test data set. Timing link appears to be up and running, so it's doubtful this is the cause. Will need to zap SQUIDs before IbIs measurements. Can always retake data if it appears dodgy.
0644 Fill N2 cold trap full.
Fed Cricket 3 pellets.
1820 DAQ crashed 21 minutes into data series 07121028_0755. Connection to DCRC32 was lost. Cycled the power a couple of times to get it going, and gave the detectors a quick flash. Cryostat currently cooling back to base temperature. Lots of what looks like trapped flux on phonon pulses. Shall zap SQUIDs once cryostat has reached 60 mK.
1910 Fill N2 cold trap partially full, perhaps a litre or two shy but good enough for now.
Fed Cricket 5 pellets.
Mixing chamber temperature 60.3 mK: good enough. Restart timing link, reset phonon channel parameters to zero and open loop and start zapping SQUIDs: DIB 1 phonon channels first.
