0958 Fed Cricket 3 pellets.
1015 Filled LN2 cold trap.
1325 Helium in main bath has run out. Mixing chamber temperature 1.0 K. Pump mixture into dump.
1410 Stop 1 K pot.
1600 Removed Poly-lead shield.
1640 Fed Cricket 4 pellets.
1850 Turn on mixing chamber heater, power 10.0 mW, to aid extraction of mixture.
2005 Mixing chamber temperature 7.9 K, dump pressure 711 mbar. Switch off mixing chamber heater.
2130 Mixing chamber temperature 7.6 K. Helium leak rate in pipes leading to IVC 7.1E-10 mbar l/s. Open up IVC and helium leak rate jumps to 2.2E-5 mbar l/s: and order of magnitude higher than expected. Is it possible that there is indeed a superfluid leak and we did not leave the mixture in for long enough to actually see it in our previous tests? Let's see what the leak rate is at a higher temperature.
2200 Fill N2 cold trap full.
