930 Filled LN2 cold trap.
Fed Cricket 3 pellets.
1100 Started LHe transfer. 3.6%
1145 End LHe transfer (91.6%).
1213 The mixing chamber temperature: 95.8 mK. Still thermometer: 4.37 kΩ and cold plate thermometer: 13.3 kΩ. Pressures in P1, G1 & G2 are 0.12 mbar, 79 mbar and 95 mbar respectively. The 1 K pot temperature is 1.79 K.
1220 Turn on still heater: 1 mW.
1255 The mixing chamber temperature: 96.8 mK. Still thermometer: 4.34 kΩ and cold plate thermometer: 13.3 kΩ. Pressures in P1, G1 & G2 are 0.11 mbar, 82 mbar and 98 mbar respectively. The 1 K pot temperature is 1.79 K.
1304 Turn on still heater: 2 mW.
1348 The mixing chamber temperature: 98.2 mK. Still thermometer: 4.33 kΩ and cold plate thermometer: 13.1 kΩ. Pressures in P1, G1 & G2 are 0.12 mbar, 88 mbar and 104 mbar respectively. The 1 K pot temperature is 1.79 K.
1350 Turn off still heater. Close V6 on IGH, interrupting circulation.
1400 Close V13A on IGH. There is 327 mbar of mixture left in the dump. This means we drained almost 70 mbar out of the dump last night. We could try to to condense 325 mbar of mixture instead of 300 mbar, but there isn't much room for error. Perhaps level of mixture in still is fine.
Warm up to 4.2 K for leak checking. Open valve V6 on IGH to remove mixture.
1430 Stop 1 K pot.
1510 Turn on mixing chamber heater to 10.0 mW and open valve V5 on IGH in an effort to recover mixture faster.
1755 Recovered 698 mbar of mixture. Start 1 K pot; temperature 1.77 K. Turn off mixing chamber heater.
1810 Start condensing mixture manually through nitrogen cold trap 1.
1820 Seal off dump. Pressure of mixture in dump 364 mbar.
1825 Valve 12A on IGH fully open. Mixing chamber temperature 8.4 K and dropping. Pressures in G1 & G2 look fine, as do pressure and temperature of 1 K pot. Will leave to cool for a few hours.
1826 Fed Cricket 4 pellets.
2120 Made a slight mistake and started automatic condensation procedure instead of circulation. Aborted procedure, closed valve V13A and opened valves V5 & V9 on IGH to extract mixture from fridge to dump. Mixing chamber temperature was 3 K at start of procedure. It has dropped to 2.2 K. It's possible that a greater concentration of He-3 than He-4 has been extracted, but it's probably fine. This can be checked with single-shot once mixture is circulating inside fridge if required.
Restart condensation.
2125 Interrupt condensation. Start circulation.
