0115 Nitrogen level meter resistance 1.34 kΩ. Nitrogen transfer complete. Attach ping-pong ball.
1115 Started pumping out exchange gas from IVC. Current temp is 91 K.
1305 Fill N2 cold trap full.
Stop pumping on mixing chamber lines and start cryocleaning mixture through nitrogen cold trap 2.
1540 Background helium leak rate 3.7E-9 mbar l/s. Start blowing liquid nitrogen out of main bath.
1635 Fill N2 cold trap full.
1700 Nitrogen has been blown out. Helium leak rate 4.2E-9 mbar l/s: no gross leak.
Interrupt cryocleaning and pump mixture into dump in preparation for throughput test.
1735 Perform electrical check at 86 K. No new problems witnessed.
Main bath evacuated. No nitrogen remains.
1805 Conduct throughput test: 23 mbar/min; 28 mbar/min. A little low, but confident that mixture is clean due to large number of cryocleaning cycles this run. Background helium leak rate 7.3E-9 mbar l/s. Leak rate increased to 7.4E-9 mbar l/s during throughput test. Increase just looks like background. Safe to conclude there is no leak between mixing chamber lines and IVC. Pump mixture into dump in preparation for cryocleaning.
1810 Overpressurise main bath with helium gas. Helium leak rate 7.4E-9 mbar l/s: no change from background.
Evacuate 1 K pot.
1825 Fill IVC with 0.25 mbar He-4 exchange gas.
1900 Commence first helium transfer.
2035 Pump out exchange gas at 12 K.
Conclude helium transfer. Helium liquid level 88.6%.
2315 Close gate valve and condenser line speedivalve. Restart cryocleaning mixture through nitrogen cold trap 2.
