1430 Mixing chamber temperature 77 K. Pump out N2 exchange gas.
Fill N2 cold trap full.
1955 IVC pressure 2E-6 torr: good enough. Isolate turbo pump. Background helium leak rate 3E-9 mbar l/s: lower than yesterday. Start blowing out liquid nitrogen.
2030 Interrupt cryocleaning. Pump mixture into dump in preparation for throughput test.
2110 Nitrogen has been blown out. Helium leak rate remained unchanged at 3E-9 mbar l/s. Left helium running for 5 minutes and leak rate increased to 1E-8 mbar l/s. There may be a leak, but it is very small. Helium leak rate increased to 2E-8 mbar l/s when pumping on the main bath. Not sure if this is coincidence, but increase is relatively small, so it is probably safe to say there is no gross leak.
2215 Throughput test yields 45 mbar/min. Helium leak rate 3E-8 mbar l/s: rate has been rising steadily, so no gross leak.
Evacuate 1 K pot.
2245 Flush main bath. Helium leak rate 3E-8 mbar l/s.
Fill IVC with 0.25 mbar He-4 exchange gas. Commence helium transfer.
