917 Filled LN2 cold trap.
1050 Temp was only around 170K around 9:15 am, reducing at a rate of 0.13K/ min. Found that the lines to the IVC were all closed, so it wasn't filled with N2 exchange gas. Opened larger in-line valve. Pressure in IVC currently is 2.2E-1 mbar. The temperature is now reducing at 0.25K/min. We should get to ~80K in 6-7 hours.
1316 Prepping mixture cleaning- pumped mix into dump. Closed all valves on He3 side of IGH. Closed condenser speedivalve and gate valve.
Pressure in IVC: 1.9E-1 mbar
1320 Opened V4,12b; Waited a minute, then opened V13b, 14, and 6 (13.5%). G2-G1 ~ 30 mbar
1357 V6 @ 13.9%; G1 ~ 459 mbar; G2 ~ 494 mbar ⇒ G2-G1 ~ 35 mbar. When closing V13b, G2 rose 300 mbar in 15 seconds.
Cleaning mixture.
1825 Did some tests on rise of G2 at various %'s of V6 when testing cleanliness of mixture. There's a factor of ~ 10 between the pressure rise/min when mix is being pumped into dump vs. behind the pump. Example: @ 13.7%, the rise in G2 for the mix flowing behind the pump (i.e. just close V13b to see pressure rise), the rate is 220 mbar/min. The rise in G2 when the mix is pumped into the dump is 20 mbar/min.
1832 Settled on V6 @ 13.2%. Rise in G2 is 140 mbar/min when closing V13b, which is closest to ideal value of 100 mbar/min.
1850 Put in more N2 exchange gas into IVC: 3 mbar. IVC pressure before this was 1.6-1.9E-5 mbar
