0003 Stop flashing detector
0219 The no noise selected in NoiseGen problem was found due to wrong detector number setting in the DAQ config. Now NoiseGen can run through. To test the daq, the detector was biased to -4V on Q1-4 from 0136. I'll continue to take more data.
0225 Start to take data 07110325_0225_F0001. -4V on Q1-4. Trigger: Q1(28ADC) OR Q2(30ADC) OR Q3(30ADC) OR Q4(30ADC); coincidence time 50us. Trace length 1024, lookback time 100us. Auto run enabled, take data 60min, flash 20min, cooldown 40min. Flash settings: DCRC30 on DIB2 (Q1&3), LED 1&2; DCRC33 on DIB1 (Q2&4), LED1; LED current 0.6mA, 100us ON, 2500us OFF. Tower temperature 57.2mK.
0234 The signal on DIB2 always seemed to be smaller. Is is due to lack of charge reference wire?
1023 Already got 07110325_0225, 07110325_0425, 07110325_0625, and 07110325_0825 four sereis each of about 22x10k events. This is enough. Stop the run. Tower temperature dropped to 63.kmK at this moment after 20min flashing.
1118 Filled LN2 cold trap.
1145 Start to take data, take data 20min and flash 20 min. The DAQ decided to do a flash first. OK. I'll wait.
1217 The DAQ didn't start taking data itself. Stop the DAQ and stop flashing manually.
1547 Start long baking of detector. The data took last night only held netralization for ~10min. It may be because the crystal was depleted by the data taking on DIB2 with ground floating.
1814 Bridge the analog grounds of the two DCRC to provide a charge return to DIB2. In the data taken last night DIB1 (Q2 & Q4) was much more responsive than DIB2.
1828 Filled N2 cold trap

1 hour neutralization study

Take data for 1 hour then flash 20 min and cool down 40min.

Cuts:

  • cQ# = max([Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4], [], 2)==#
  • cQCchisq = cQ1chisq & cQ2chisq & cQ3chisq & cQ4chisq;
  • cE = 45<Qsum.

Neutralization of Q1-Q4
The figures below plot the primary events as a function of time. Q1 and Q3 have much fewer events than Q2 and Q4.
