0911 MC temperature 5.26K. IVC P=4.6E-7cc/s. Most of the exchange gas is out. Start condensing mixture.
Open the ball valve on the line connecting the 1K pot exhaust and He recovery line
Switch 1K pot pump exhaust to “He recovery”
Open 1K pot needle valve ~1/4 turn
Fully open 1K pot speedivalve
Adjust 1K pot needle value to set temperature ~1.7K
Start condensing from the OI labview program
0943 Auto condensing vi closes V9 too early. Need to change the settings. Can open and close V14 and wathc the pressure on G1 to condense the mixture in the dump.
1026 Start circulation of mixture.
1108 A power glitch happened. All pumps off and IGH was restarted. The circulation was interrupted. IGH was locked to local and V6 and 1K pot needle valves are blinking. I can not operate anything.
1113 Circulation was restarted manually
1123 Fill N2 cold trap full
1125 Adjust 1K pot to 1.5K
1605 Tower temperature 68 mK; should be low enough to take data from G8.
Tower temperature rose to 72 mK after ethernet cable and ground were plugged into DCRCv3 board 30 on stripline 20. Decreased to 68 mK within a couple of minutes.
1709 Tried flash the LEDs using DCRCv3 but tower temperature only went up to 79mK. Using DCRC v1 to check if the LEDs were working.
Set DCRCv1: 1) G/W 131.225.53.1, 2) Subnet mask 255.255.0.0, 4) IP 131.225.53.4
Flash LED 1 on G9 with 400uA, on 100us, off 2500us, tower temperature went up to 830mK. It was ~500mK in the past runs
Switch to G8 LED1, temperature went up to ~810mK.
The higher tower temperature may be caused by a weaker thermal link between detector and the MC due to the source holder housing.
2031 Could not make LED flashing work on DCRCv3. Use DCRCv1 to flash LED1 of G9: 400uA, ON100us, OFF2500us. Tower temperature went up to 850mK.
Fill N2 cold trap full
