- Lab Update
- Leak detector below 10^-6 mbar during weekend. Cryocleaning ongoing, below ~100 mbar in contaminant level. Need a couple of more cycles.
- Leak checking on edges on IVC seals on IVC fine. Raised Main Bath.
- Leak checking again shows signal more than 10^-6 mbarL/s. This was seen earlier and come from the top indium seal which seem to be needed tightening with every cooldown now.
- Slightly lowered MB and tightened the screws further. Not much movement, only can hear metal cracking sounds.
- Raised MB again and this time leak signal was low.
- As soon as I start pumping out the He gas from MB, leak signal jumps very high. Not sure the reason.
- This might be other place or that seal in not holding up for long time?
