- Lab Update - Run 82 on-going
- Fridge Status : Fridge is at 4K to clear out partial plug on the still line.
- Put all mixture in dump and installed another gauge on Still Line to calibrate the P1 gauge.
- Pumping out the line and noting the calibration seems to be giving different values when we use mixture instead. We will go with the numbers from the mixture for now.
- Installed baratron on the dump line. It needs a +-15V power source. Using the available power source doesn't give correct values. Currently it reads 1.766 VDC which manual says it should be 0-10V output.
- We will start the 1K pot today to proceed with the step to add pure He3.
- There was a power surge in the lab during last week. Both Lakeshore's were not responding initially. Power cycling helped the Lakeshore 370 to work back on, Lakeshore 372 keeps restarting.
- Warm electronics tests:
- Tested other two single axis piezo and noise-antenna : https://scdms.slac.stanford.edu/elog/SuperCDMS+Electronics/10
- There is a major risk factor at the SDU while handling piezo cables at the input port: https://supercdms-docdb.fnal.gov/cgi-bin/private/RetrieveFile?docid=4010&filename=SDU_%20Analog.pdf&version=3
- Need to be extremely careful while changing the cables: https://scdms.slac.stanford.edu/elog/SuperCDMS+Electronics/9
- Contacted Fermilab engineer to confirm if a 10k ohm terminator can be installed in parallel at the input port. He says it should work.
- Future plans:
- Test accelerometer readout with SDU.
- Check signal attenuation with a long cable between piezo and acoustic board.
- Priority Updates
- General Updates
- Himangshu
- Shubham
- Zach
