- Lab Update
- Run76 in progress
- Swapped two DCRCs - now all 12 channels are working, good pulses
- Tested 2D source mover, two zero moves: i.e., move the source to the center.
- first move should have properly centered the source, which would have been slightly offset during installation
- second move shouldn't actually move the source at all
- both moves caused heating. MC went to 0.5 K. Goldman thermometer went above 2 K - not positive that's accurate. Maybe 3 hours to cool close to previous base
- Mini-IbIs on all channels to set dP/dI. Can compare to IbIs-vs-temperature data from Run75 and use this to estimate tower temperature:
- best match is 46 mK as per Goldman thermometer on tower in Run 75. Currently Goldman reads ~75 mK, this is clearer evidence it's wrong
- 46 mK is surprising, seems like the tower is probably cooler than that because the MC is much cooler now than in Run75
- Correlation of QET bias settings across channels between Run75 and Run76 is only mediocre
- Took some 2-sided 0-Volt data. Modified the processing code and managed to process the data. Will look today at Am-241 spectrum.
- Working on recreating the setup to feed trigger signal from NaI setup to a DCRC
